Title: Interior Design Coordinator – Hospitality Design

Location: Parsippany, NJ (Hybrid)

Job Type: Contract (6 months duration)

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior Design Coordinator to join our hospitality design team supporting hotel renovation and conversion projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging hospitality designer who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoys working across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and respond to inquiries in the Interior Design mailbox with a 24-hour response turnaround.
Review design submittals for hotel renovation and conversion projects.
Assist the Renovation Team in developing Property Improvement Plans (PIPs).
Support SPEXX-related tasks as needed.
Collaborate with Interior Design leads on paint flyers and manufacturer-direct layouts.
Prepare design presentations, mood boards, FF&E specifications, and supporting materials.
Review shop drawing submittals and ensure compliance with hotel brand standards.
Coordinate with project stakeholders, vendors, and hotel owners as required.
Support procurement coordination and project management activities.
Participate in team initiatives, company events, and culture-building activities.
Travel domestically up to 10% for hotel site visits and project support.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from a FIDER/CIDA accredited program or equivalent.
1–2 years of hospitality interior design experience.
Strong understanding of hospitality design standards, finishes, and procurement processes.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
Comfortable interacting with clients and hotel owners in a professional setting.
