Textile Delivery Assoc — St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital

Primary Function/General Purpose of Position:

The Textile Delivery Associate works under the direct supervision of the Manager. Responsible for the replenishment of exchange carts for nursing and ancillary areas; fills and delivers orders according to daily schedules; uses handheld inventory units to generate usage info; rolls and fills scrub exchange units; picks up soiled linens and scrubs and transports to dock via pallet jack; assists drivers with loading of soiled linen onto trucks and unloading of clean linens from trucks. Processes washes/dry mops and other items as needed.

Essential Job Functions:

Transports clean and soiled linens.
Operates small commercial washer/dryer.
Picks up/loads soiled linen carts.
Operates pallet jacks.
Utilizes handheld inventory tracking device.
Maintains daily activity records.
Fills carts and orders.
Will perform duties of the Textile Team Leader, as staffing requires.

Education

High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred)

Work Experience

One year working experience in a material handling setting (preferred)
General computer experience (preferred)
