About Us

Lexi Westergard Design is a full-service luxury interior design studio specializing in custom builds, large-scale renovations, and complete furnishings for high-net-worth clients in Arizona and nationwide. We take on a limited number of projects each year and stay closely involved from concept through final installation.

This is not an entry-level role. We're looking for an experienced designer who can take ownership of projects and produce high-level work from day one, working alongside our principal designer and design team.

What Your Role Looks Like

You'll work across every phase of a project, from pre-planning through install day. Some weeks you'll be deep in sourcing and technical documentation; others you'll be on-site making real-time decisions. You should be as comfortable in a client presentation as you are working through construction drawings.

Responsibilities

Develop project palettes, concepts, and presentation materials
Produce construction documents, drawings, and specifications, independently and in coordination with our technical designer
Source furnishings, finishes, and materials while maintaining accurate specifications
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and trades to keep projects on schedule
Contribute ideas for custom furnishings, construction details, and studio workflows
Support installs and client reveals

Qualifications

4+ years of residential interior design experience; luxury experience required
Proficiency in AutoCAD (3+ years preferred)
Proficiency in SketchUp or similar 3D software (3+ years preferred)
Strong working knowledge of Google Suite and comfort using AI tools to streamline workflows
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects at once
Clear, proactive communication, including the confidence to be assertive with vendors and subcontractors
A collaborative attitude and openness to feedback and creative direction
Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Located within 30 minutes of our Mesa studio

This is an opportunity to learn directly from experienced designers, work on beautiful high-end residential projects, and grow your career in a studio that values craft, collaboration, and initiative. If you are looking for a place to build real design skills and take on more responsibility over time, we would love to hear from you.

To apply, send your resume, portfolio, and a brief video introducing yourself to studio@lexiwestergarddesign.com with the subject line "Interior Designer Role." We'd love to hear why you think you're a great fit and what excites you about working with LWD.
