This position must be in a 5 hour driving distance to our site in Sweetwater, TX as needed.

IREN is a leading AI Cloud Service Provider, delivering large-scale GPU clusters for AI training and inference. IREN’s vertically integrated platform is underpinned by its expansive portfolio of grid-connected land and data centers in renewable-rich regions across the U.S. and Canada.

The Procurement Manager will lead procurement activities for a new data center site, with an initial focus on supporting capital construction and infrastructure projects. This role will play a critical part in delivering large-scale mechanical, electrical, and critical infrastructure packages on schedule and within budget.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
7+ years of progressive procurement experience, including capital project sourcing within the construction or Data Center industry.
Experience supporting large infrastructure, industrial, energy, or data center projects.
Demonstrated success leading complex negotiations and contract management.
Experience building or leading procurement teams.
Strong understanding of commercial terms, contract structures, and risk mitigation.
Experience working within ERP systems (SAP preferred).
Strong financial and commercial acumen.
Experience in data center, mission-critical, energy, or high-availability environments.
Experience supporting greenfield site builds or major expansions.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and critical infrastructure supply markets.

Capital Project Support

Manage procurement activities for mechanical, electrical, structural, and critical equipment packages
Run RFQs/RFPs, evaluate proposals, and support vendor selection
Negotiate pricing and commercial terms
Track long-lead items and ensure on-time delivery
Partner closely with Engineering, Construction, Legal, and Finance

Supplier & Contract Management

Maintain day-to-day supplier relationships
Support onboarding and performance tracking
Assist with contract review and compliance
Monitor vendor performance against KPIs

Operational Procurement

Support site operations with purchasing and service contracts
Monitor spend and identify cost efficiencies
Assist with budgeting and forecasting
Ensure accurate PO and system management (SAP preferred)

Compensation

Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and market data for the region.
Total Compensation package may be inclusive of annual incentive bonus, equity (long-term incentive).
