TheProcurementManageris responsible formanagingElevate Fence Partners’purchasingfunctionality as it relates to supporting ourlocally branded companies.The Procurement Manager will ensure that the companyleveragesits buying power to achieve cost savings andmaintainhigh-quality standards.TheProcurementManagerisresponsible fordeveloping and continuing to develop as the business changes, a strategy to better leverage assets, as well as any special projects as it relates to theProcurementprocess to include upgrades, integrations etc. This position interacts with all levels in thefieldas well asnumerousother departments in the company and all branches.

Purchasing

Develop and deployElevate Fence Partners’purchasingstrategy:

RFP Initiative

Commodity Sourcing

Price Negotiation

Vendor Quality Management

Support Branch Managers with ongoing needs for products,servicesand programs

Identifyand pursue cost savings opportunities

EnhancePolicies and Procedures to streamline procurementefforts

Implement control processes tomonitorcompliance with Policies

Purchase Order Management – enhance PO processing and controls

Develop Visual Management tools tofacilitateBranch Managerpurchasingcontrols

Provide subject matter expert content forpurchasingtraining topics

Supplier Management:

Build andmaintainstrong relationships with suppliers.

Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost.

Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that arise.

Develop and deploy supplier performance processes (daily productivity metrics).

Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions.

General Duties

Composesreports and other communication materials.

Provides input and ideas to improve processes and functions and to maximize effectiveness.

Given goals and general guidelines, administers company policy to support functions as assigned.

Communicateswith other departments, branches and vendorsregardingany relevant issues, design/revise tools,processesand procedures to improve efficiency and head special projects, as needed.

Provides training to new and existing staff (corporate and field) as neededin conjunction with the HR Department.

Studies issues related to future developments andmakesrecommendations to management as well as perform expense analyseson a monthly basis.

Supports Upper Management and Corporate Policies

Responsible for the achievement of Department goals asdeterminedbyCFO.

Supportsupper management.

KeepsELTinformedregardingareas of concern and opportunity.

Maintains workspace as a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Provides Customer Service - Answer allpurchasingquestions in a prompt and courteous manner.

Continuous Improvement - Assists in driving a continuous improvement strategy within the business to result in ongoing incremental gains in quality and efficiency.

Performsother related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Familiarity with the construction process,buildingmaterialsand equipmentrentalexposurewould be valuable.

Excellent attention to detail.

Excellent time management skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals and/or groups both within the organization and outside of the organization.

Demonstrateabilityto manage multiple tasks andhigh-volumeworkload.Strong senseof urgency and results-orientation.

Ability toanticipateneeds, takeinitiativeand apply experience in specialized areas of expertise and knowledge.

Education and Experience:

High Schooldiploma;Bachelor’sdegreepreferred.

10+ years ofpurchasingexperience,focuson fence or similar business products is preferred.

3 years of sales and operational experience in construction or industrial services is preferred.

Basic knowledgeof the construction rental equipment industry orrelated.

Licensesand Certification Requirements:

Valid driver’s licenserequiredwithaclean driving record.
